This monster keeps you scared. Afraid the bulls&@t stories about businesses being too hard, failing and being judged by others will come true.

The consequence of not stopping this imposter are never getting out of your own way and continuing to sabotage your dreams.

I'm sure you’ve also heard of "Shiny Object Syndrome".

This is another form the Imposter Monster takes on.

You know what I'm talking about; you start to look at your business ideas and look up this new software some guru was talking about, or a new feature was rolled out on a social media platform that's supposed to change the game for entrepreneurs, a vendor you want to use just released new "must have" products to sell, and lookie there - another coaching program idea popped into your head after seeing it in one of the 100+ Facebook groups you are in.

It never ends.

Navigating all the posts, emails and shiny promises to create massive income with little effort is exhausting and fruitless.

For me, it all started with an ache in the pit of my stomach to escape the claws of the corporate world.

I wanted to have my own business so I could start a non-profit for wildlife, build a rehabilitation center and have the time (and money) to care for the animals.

This is when I got distracted by the shiny things and my imposter monster showed up at my door.
